
The mission of the Royals Girls Hockey Club is to develop well-rounded women through high-quality hockey instruction, physical conditioning, team play, and good sportsmanship.
The Royals Girls proudly play in the Atlantic Girls Hockey Federation (“AGHF”) and the National Girls Hockey League (“NGHL”) to provide opportunities for girls to play across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The Royals Girls hockey program is extremely excited to introduce Mike Ilg as the program's Hockey Director. Mike has been actively involved in coaching at all levels of the game, from Learn to Play programs to high school hockey. His passion for player development and his ability to work with athletes of all ages have made him a respected figure in the hockey community. Throughout his career, he has helped foster skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game, ensuring that players are prepared for the next level of competition. In addition to his hockey expertise, Mike has an extensive business background that enhances his leadership in program development and operations. His experience in management and strategic planning enables him to create a structured, high-quality hockey environment for players, coaches, and families alike. With a combination of hockey knowledge, coaching experience, and business acumen, Mike is committed to leading the Royals program and providing opportunities for young athletes to succeed both on and off the ice.
