MEET THE COACHES
Royals Hockey Director
Patrick grew up in Rauma, Finland and started playing hockey at a very young age. He moved to the United States and played for the Valley Forge Minutemen AAA and Malvern Prep High School. He returned to Finland after graduating from Malvern to play Junior Hockey where he spent the next 3 seasons. After Juniors, Patrick spent some time playing in North America in the FPHL and the LNAH semi-professional leagues. He finished his playing career overseas in Sweden playing professionally for Hallefors IK and Grums IK. This is now his third season working for the Royals organization serving as the hockey director and a coach. He coached the Royals 12U A team to a silver division championship in his first year as a coach.

Coaching Philosophy
Combination of the North American and European style of hockey systems and skills. Patrick emphasizes skill work, development, sacrifice, team play, and effort. He focuses mainly on age-appropriate skill development and high intensity training.
